안 아픈 데가 없어요

한 아가씨가 병원에 가서 통증을 호소하고 있었다.

"어디가 아프세요?" 의사가 물었다.

"꼭 좀 도와주세요. 전 안 아픈 데가 없어요," 그녀가 말했다.

"안 아프신 데가 없다니, 무슨 뜻이죠?" 의사가 물었다. "좀 더 구체적으로 말씀해 보세요."

그녀는 검지손가락으로 오른쪽 무릎을 짚으며 외쳤다, "아이쿠, 여기가 아파요." 다음엔 그녀가 왼쪽 뺨을 짚으면서 또 소리쳤다, "아야! 여기도 역시 아파요." 이어서 그녀는 오른쪽 귓불을 만지며, "아휴, 심지어 여기도 아파요" 하고 울상을 지었다.

의사가 한동안 그녀를 찬찬히 검사해 보더니 진단 결과를 알려주었다. "손가락이 부러지셨구만요."

I hurt all over

A young woman went to her doctor complaining of pain.

"Where are you hurting?" asked the doctor.

"You have to help me. I hurt all over", said the woman.

"What do you mean, all over?" asked the doctor. "Be a little more specific."

The woman touched her right knee with her index finger and yelled, "Ow, that hurts." Then she touched her left cheek and again yelled, "Ouch! That hurts, too." Then she touched her right earlobe, "Ow, even THAT hurts", she cried.

The doctor checked her thoughtfully for a moment and told her his diagnosis. "You have a broken finger."
