한 어린 여대생이 울면서 아버지에게 달려왔다. "아빠, 아빠가 제게 엉터리 금융지도를 해주셨어요!"

"그래? 내가 너한테 뭐랬는데?" 아빠 말씀.

"아빠는 제 돈을 큰 은행에 맡기라고 하셨는데, 그 큰 은행이 지금 곤경에 처해 있다구요."

"무슨 소리냐? 국내 굴지의 대형 은행인데," 아빠가 말했다, "네가 뭘 잘못 알았겠지."

"아녀요," 딸이 콧방귀를 뀌었다, "제가 발행한수표 하나가 방금 되돌아왔는데, 거기에 '자금부족'이라고 찍혀있던데요."

Insufficient Funds

A young college co-ed came running in tears to her father. "Dad, you gave me some terrible financial advice!"

"I did? What did I tell you?" said the dad.

"You told me to put my money in that big bank, and now that big bank is in trouble."

"What are you talking about? That's one of the largest banks in the state," he said. "there must be some mistake."

"I don't think so," she sniffed. "They just returned one of my checks with a note saying, 'Insufficient Funds'."
