한 여인이 LA에 사는 친척을 방문하러간 길에 최신 스타일의 쇼핑지역 한 군데를 둘러보기로 하였다. 진열장들을 밖에서 구경하고 나서 그녀는 독특한 식탁들이 진열된 한 가게에 들어갔다.
각 테이블마다 특이한 리넨 식탁보에 고급 도자기, 은, 크리스탈 제품들로 꾸며져 있었다.

손님이라곤 그녀 혼자뿐이었다. 계산대의 앳된 아가씨가 무엇을 도와드릴까요 하고 물었으나 그녀는 정중히 사양하고 그냥 구경만 하겠다고 말했다.

계산원이 계속 자기를 흘깃흘깃 쳐다보는 것에약간 짜증이 났지만, 어쨌거나, 그녀는 거의 한 시간 동안이나 여러가지 도자기와 은제 그릇들을 살펴보았다.

점원에게 구경 잘 했다고 인사하고 나온 후그제서야 그 여인은 자기가 여태까지 한 세련된 레스토랑의 식기류를 면밀히 점검하고 있었음을 깨달았다.

Exquisite Dishes

When visiting her family in Los Angeles, a woman decided to explore a trendy shopping area. After window-shopping, she entered a store with unique table displays.
Each table was laid out with distinctive linen, fine china, silver and crystal.

The woman was the only customer. The young cashier initially asked if she could help, but the woman declined and said she was only browsing.

The woman was a bit put off by the glances the cashier kept giving her, but nonetheless, she spent almost an hour examining the different makes of china and silver.

It was only after thanking the shopkeeper and leaving that this woman discovered she had been inspecting the tableware at a chic restaurant.
