이 중 2천9백만 명이 연방정부에 고용되어 있으니까, 일할 사람은 1천9백만 명이 남는다.

2백8십만 명이 군복무 중이므로, 1천6백2십만 명이 일을 할 수 있다.

지방자치단체에 고용된 1천4백8십만 명을 빼면, 일할 사람은 1백4십만 명이 남는다.

어느 시점에서나 188,000 명은 병원에 입원해 있으니, 1,212,000 명이 일을 할 수 있다.

현재, 1,211,998 명이 교도소 복역 중이니, 일을 할 수 있는 사람은 딱 둘만 남는다.

Overworked

For a couple years I've been blaming it on lack of sleep, too much pressure from my job, earwax buildup, Iron poor blood, and a lack of exercise, but now I found out the real reason: we're tired because we're overworked. Here's why:

The population of this country is 273 million. 140 million are retired.That leaves 133 million to do the work.

There are 85 million in school, Which leaves 48 million to do the work.

Of this there are 29 million employed by the federal government, Leaving 19 million to do the work.

2.8 million are in the armed forces, Which leaves 16.2 million to do the work.

Take from the total the 14,800,000 people who work for state and city governments, And that leaves 1.4 million to do the work.

At any given time there are 188,000 people in hospitals, Leaving 1,212,000 to do the work.

Now, there are 1,211,998 people in prisons. That leaves just two people to do the work.
