어떤 여객선의 승객들이 다들 한 조그만 섬에서 웬 수염투성이 사나이가 소리를 지르며 필사적으로 손을 흔들어대는 것을 볼 수 있었다.

 

"저게 누구죠?" 한 승객이 선장에게 물었다.

 

"모르겠어요. 매년 한 번씩 우리가 지나갈 때마다, 발광을 한답니다."
