어느날 밤, 한 사나이가 어떤 바에 들어와서 바텐더에게 술 한 잔을 시켰다. 마시고 나서 또 한 잔을 시켰다. 이어서 두 잔을 더 마시자, 바텐더는 슬그머니 걱정이 되었다.

 

"무슨 문제가 있으신가요?" 바텐더가 물었다.

 

"마누라하고 다퉜는데," 사나이가 설명하였다 "나하고 한 달 동안 말을 안 하겠대요."

 

바텐더가 잠시 생각해 보더니 물었다, "하지만, 부인께서 댁에게 아무 말도 안 하신다면 그건 좋은 일 아닌가요?"

 

"그야 그렇지요, 그런데 오늘이 그 마지막 날이라서..."

The wife is not speaking to me 
 
One night, this guy come into a bar and asks the bartender for a drink. Then he asks for another. After a couple more drinks, the bartender gets worried.

 

"What's the matter?" the bartender asks.

 

"My wife and I got into a fight," explained the guy "and now she isn't talking to me for a whole 31 days."

 

The bartender thought about this for a while. "But, isn't it a good thing that she isn't talking to you?" asked the bartender.

 

"Yeah, except today is the last night."
