한 여인에게 돌을 던지려고 쫓아가는 사람들을 예수께서 보시고 다가가서 물으셨다, "대체 무슨 일인가?"

"이 여자가 간음죄를 범한 것이 밝혀졌으니, 율법상 우리가 그녀에게 돌을 던져야 한단 말이오!" 무리 중 하나가 대답하였다.

"잠간만," 예수께서 외치셨다. "첫번째 돌은 죄 없는 자가 던지도록 하라."

돌연, 하늘에서 돌멩이 하나가 날아와, 그 여자의 옆 머리를 가격하였다.

"아이구, 제발, 아버지..." 예수께서 소리치셨다, "제가 지금 중요한 대목을 진행하려던 참이라고요!"

He who is without sin

Jesus saw a crowd chasing down a woman to stone her and approached them. "What's going on here, anyway?" he asked.

"This woman was found committing adultery, and the law says we should stone her!" one of the crowd responded.

"Wait," yelled Jesus. "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone."

Suddenly, a stone was thrown from out of the sky, and knocked the woman on the side of her head.

"Aw, c'mon, Dad..." Jesus cried, "I'm trying to make a point here!"
