한 꼬마 아이가커다란 가족 성경책을 들추었다. 그는 오래 묵은 페이지들을 만지작거리는 일에푹 빠져있었다.
갑자기 성경으로부터 뭔가가 떨어져 나왔다. 그는 그 물건을 주워서 자세히 들여다보았다. 그가 본 것은 성경갈피에 끼어 눌려 있던 오래된 나뭇잎이었다.

"엄마, 내가 찾아낸 것 좀 보세요," 꼬마가 큰 소리로 불렀다.

"뭘 가지고 그러니, 얘야?" 엄마가 물었다. 꼬마가 경이에 찬 목소리로 대답했다:

"이거 아담의 팬티인가봐요!"

Adam's Undies

A little boy opened the big family Bible. He was fascinated as he fingered through the old pages.
Suddenly something fell out of the Bible. He picked up the object and looked at it closely. What he saw was an old leaf that had been pressed in between the pages.

"Momma, look what I found," the boy called out.

"What have you got there, dear?" his mother asked. With astonishment in the young boy's voice, he answered:

"I think it's Adam's underwear!"
