수술 받기 직전의 한 환자가 휠체어를 탄채 병원 복도를 미친듯이 내달리고 있었다. 한 간호사가 그를 세우고 물었다, "무슨 일이세요?"

그가 말했다, "우리 간호사가, '아주 간단한 수술이니까 걱정 말아요, 다 잘 될 거예요'라고 하더군요."

"그녀는 당신을 안심시키려던 것 뿐인데, 그게 뭐 그리 놀라운 일인가요?"

"그녀가 내게 말한 게 아니예요. 의사에게 말한 거라고요!"

It's a very simple operation

A man was wheeling himself frantically down the hall of the hospital in his wheelchair, just before his operation. A nurse stopped him and asked, "What's the matter?"

He said, "I heard the nurse say, 'It's a very simple operation, don't worry, I'm sure it will be all right.'"

"She was just trying to comfort you, what's so frightening about that?"

"She wasn't talking to me. She was talking to the doctor!"
