찬사

그 노인이 세상을 떠나자, 성대한 장례식을 거행하면서, 시골 신부가,고인은 매우 정직한 사람이었다는둥, 매우 자상한 남편이었다는둥, 다정한 아버지였다는둥, 고인의좋은 성품들을 장황하게 늘어놓고 있었다.

마침내, 미망인이 자녀 하나에게 속삭였다, "너, 앞에 나가서 저 관 속의 인물이 네 아버지가 맞는지 좀 보고 오너라."

Eulogy

The old man had died. A wonderful funeral was in progress and the country preacher talked at length of the good traits of the deceased, what an honest man he was, and what a loving husband and kind father he was.

Finally, the widow leaned over and whispered to one of her children, "Go up there and take a look in the coffin and see if that's your pa."
