어떤 자연환경보전 지역이 탐방객들에게 설문서 작성을 요청하였다. 다음은 실제로 그들이 남긴 의견들이다:

탐방로를 다시 건설할 필요가 있음. 오르막길은 만들지 말아 주시기를.

벌레와 거머리와 거미줄들이 너무 많음. 그 지역에 이들 유해물을 없애기 위한 살충제를 뿌려 주세요.

겨울에 눈을 치우기 쉽도록 탐방로를 포장해 주세요.

몇몇 곳에는 걸어 올라가지 않고도 멋진 경치를 즐길 수 있도록 좌석 달린 리프트를 설치할 필요가 있음.

간밤에는 코요테들 소리가 너무 시끄러워 잠을 잘 수 없었습니다. 그 시끄러운 동물들을 박멸하여 주세요.

작은 사슴 하나가 제 캠프에 들어와 피클 병을 훔쳐갔어요. 변상 받을 방법이 있나요? xxx-xxxx번으로 전화해 주세요.

야간에 플래시를 들고 하이킹할 수 있도록 나무 위에 18 미터 간격으로 반사경을 설치할 필요가 있음.

가파른 오르막 구역들에는 에스컬레이터가 있으면 도움이 될 것임.

지역을 원시상태로 보호하기 위하여 표지판들이 더 많이 필요함.

탐방로가 시작되는 지점에 맥도날드 햄버거 가게가 하나 있으면 좋겠어요.

탐방로가 없는 장소들이 잘 표시되어 있질 않아요.

저는 샌드위치 만들 재료를 많이 가져왔는데, 빵을 깜박 잊었어요. 댁에 여유분의 빵이 있으시면 V 호숫가의 노랑 텐트 안에 두고 가세요.

산에 바위가 너무 많아요.

Hiker's Comments

A wilderness area asked hikers to fill out comment cards. These are actual comments left by hikers:

Trail needs to be reconstructed. Please avoid building trails that go uphill.

Too many bugs and leaches and spiders and spider webs. Please spray the wilderness to rid the area of these pests.

Please pave the trails so they can be plowed of snow during the winter.

Chairlifts need to be in some places so that we can get to wonderful views without having to hike to them.

The coyotes made too much noise last night and kept me awake. Please eradicate these annoying animals.

A small deer came into my camp and stole my jar of pickles. Is there a way I can get reimbursed? Please call XXX-XXX-XXXX.

Reflectors need to be placed on trees every 50 feet so people can hike at night with flashlights.

Escalators would help on steep uphill sections.

Need more signs to keep area pristine.

A McDonalds would be nice at the trailhead.

The places where trails do not exist are not well marked.

I brought lots of sandwich makings, but forgot bread. If you have extra bread, leave it in the yellow tent at V Lake.

Too many rocks in the mountains.
